The Winter Season

The short days and chilly weather are natural clues to the winter season moving in. Good weather for warming spicy soups and a hot cinnamon toddy. Safety Lessons Learned During Fire Prevention Week

Throughout Mariposa County Fire, Fire Prevention Week, October 4 – 10 was promoted. Banners supporting the campaign were seen at each station, articles were published in all Mariposa County newspapers and fire safety information was distributed to more than 2,000 students attending Mariposa County Schools. Speaking of cooperating....

I have a milk goat as a result of looking for milk to buy...and that is certainly great, except that now I am tied to the goat. I want, wish for, am looking for someone or ones to share in this goat keeping thing so I can go away sometimes for this or that. water wars?

so the farmers are crying and begging for water, the animals and fish are drinking from drying or polluted rivers and creeks, and millions of californians still have useless shocking green lawns wasting away in the heat and polluting the existing water table with herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. meanwhile few people notice the connection. food not lawns. wildlife, not goof courses. get the drift? our cup runneth over...if this wasn't so sad it could be a comedy Continue
