Our Family to Family Network is our Support and Resource Group for Families. It is an open group, which meaning that anyone can join.
It was suggested by Thor Matteson who recommended “Child-care/day-care could be a very useful group/forum for those with younger children. For example--when my children were young, my then-wife and I found another couple to swap "date-nights" with. Every other week, we took care of their kids while they went out, alternating with weeks when they took our kids and we had a few "free" hours. Getting to know the other parents and making sure your kids are comfortable with them is essential, so regular gatherings for the group would be pretty important. A "new parents" group could do all kinds of things--exchange clothes, toys, etc....”
While this is an open to anyone group, any group has the option of forming a “by invitation only” circle group to schedule or arrange child care exchanges or provide a special needs support group. Just let the webteam know and a private circle group will be created.
